  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ
  2. Roll out Pillsbury pie crust on top of wax paper
  3. Place spoonfuls of strawberry preserves 1.5 inches apart on rolled out pie crust
  4. Roll out second Pillsbury pie crust on wax paper
  5. Next, place second pie crust gently on top of first pie crust and jam
  6. Gently crease pie crusts together between preserve spoonfuls
  7. Roll pastry cutter along creases in rectangular shape to separate preserve portions from each other. (*Note: If you don’t have a pastry cutter, you can just cut into rectangles with a knife, and then gently press the tongs of a fork along the edges)
  8. Place cut Pop-Tarts on separate wax papered baking tray
  9. Optional: Brush egg white + water mixture on top of each cut PopTart for extra sheen
  10. Place tray in oven, and bake for 10-15 minutes or until slightly golden brown
  11. While Pop-Tarts bake, combine in bowl: milk, confectioners sugar, dash of vanilla to taste, food coloring to taste; mix until thick-ish consistency
  12. After Pop-Tarts come out cool, brush icing over tops, and add sprinkles
  13. Voila! You’re done!
